Last week we popped a long to this years The Baby Show held in London. After setting off from Suffolk at around 9am we arrived at Excel.
With the recent scare of the Corona Virus we decided to avoid public transport. With Leo being so young driving down was actually an easier way to travel, so we paid for parking at Excel which was £20 for the day, plus, we had more room for his buggy.
At the show…
We were excited to meet so many of the brands we had been working with – our first stop was at Silver Cross. Leo and I have been working with them over the past 6 months as brand ambassadors for their push chair and clothing range.
At the show we got a sneak peak of the new Jet – perfect for travel.
The ultra-small fold means it’s amazingly portable – Jet fits easily in car boots or overhead storage racks and is cabin approved for most airlines.
Updated for 2020, the Jet pushchair has a new, ergonomic seat for even better baby comfort, with wider front wheels and improved suspension providing the best ride yet. I can’t wait to try it out!

I am also a huge fan of Elvie! It has been one of my mummy must haves since having Leo.
The Elvie Pump has been a life saver for those times I have needed to leave the house for a meeting – but then remembered that I need to feed Leo.
Saved by Elvie, it was as easy as putting the portable pump on my boob under my clothes, jumping in the car and by the time I arrived at my destination I had just about a full feed ready to transfer to a bottle.
For mum’s on the go the investment is definitely worth it!
Show highlights…
We enjoyed wandering around the show and seeing all of the different stands. Stokke had their Tripp Trap High Chairs on display.
I absolutely love these as you can purchase one for your baby and the chair can evolve with them until their adult years when you can then turn them into a seat! Isn’t that just great. Stay posted for my upcoming review on this product.
Another of our highlights was Leo’s mini photoshoot with Venture in South Woodford!
I was surprised by what a natural he was in front of the camera! After the show we were also sent the image from the shoot… check it out! (Thanks guys)!
A few of our favs…
We have really enjoyed working with Nibbling, who produce teething toys which are100% non-toxic silicone, safe and soft enough to chew.
Leo’s particular favourite is his personalised dummy clip which you can see (just about below) as well as his teddy chew in pale blue!
We also loved catching up with our friends a Close Parent, Chicco and Nuna.
Also a big thank you to Joolz who had us on their VIP list! We loved having a go with the new Joolz Aer!
Just 6kg and a strap across your shoulder, the Joolz Aer leaves your arms free to hold your little one. Then when you need it, your buggy flips open in just a second.
One afternoon was just what we needed to see all the offerings and vendors The Baby Show presented. We really enjoyed the event and hope to pop along to the next one. Thanks for having us!
