I don’t know about you but when I first looked at what maternity fashion was out there, I was a little daunted to say the least.

With a press trip coming up for the tourist board in Lausanne, Switzerland, I was starting to panic about what I could take on my trip.

After lots of research I came across some brands I really liked and since then have had the pleasure of collaborating with some.

Seraphine…

Loved by celebrities the world over, this brand offers flexible wardrobe solutions perfect for before, during and after pregnancy. It’s a one stop shop for the stylish expectant mum.

Available from seraphine here – maxi wrap maternity dress – £65

I fell in love with this maxi wrap dress – it was perfect for my city break to Switzerland.

the dress is light and airy and the pattern is gorgeous. I added a small belt also from Seraphine [see here for belt] to give a little more definition to the bump and paired it with some black and gold flat sandals from New Look [see here for black sandals].

AVAILABLE FROM SERAPHINE HERE – Navy 3 in 1 Maternity Gilet – £69

Another one of my most loved items at the moment is this maternity gilet from Seraphine. It’s perfect for warm and cooler weather conditions which made it perfect for travelling in.

I paired it with this stylish stripped top from Frugi [see here for Brenton Nursing Top] plus some Love Leggings Maternity Leggings [see next post].

Being a 3 in 1 item it caters for every stage of pregnancy.

For Bump

This sporty maternity gilet is designed to fit and flatter your changing curves. Featuring concealed zip-away stretch panels to the sides, the style grows with your bump throughout your nine months.

For Babywearing

After baby is born, the kangaroo panel zips on at the front to fit easily over your baby sling or front carrier. Lined in soft faux-fur, the baby wearing insert features a section for baby’s feet, and can be worn open or zipped up to protect baby from the elements.

Forever

Soft faux-fur lined pockets and a removable hood complete the look. Whether you’re expecting, baby wearing or chasing a toddler around the park, this gilet will be your cold weather go-to for years to come. It’s designed for bump, for baby and forever.

Love Leggings…

Who isn’t comfy in leggings? These special maternity fit leggings from Love Leggings are a must have. I have three different colours at the moment and they go with most of my wardrobe, whether I have them on with a jumper or a mid length dress.

AVAILABLE FROM LOVE LEGGINGS HERE – £14.50

The best part is the price, lets face it, you are only going to need this extra bump room whilst you are pregnant so why would you want to spend a fortune!

I like to team mine up with a pari of comfy Superga mine can are here [see 2750 LAMEW white Superga] with a long black vest top and a black duster jacket.

Kerikit Nappy Bag…

Accessories are important to any outfit and although my purpose was not yet used for nappy changing, this Kerikit Joy Black Scuba and Vegan Leather Changing Bag Backpack that I was gifted came in useful for travelling.

AVAILABLE FROM KERIKIT HERE – £145

The Joy vegan leather changing bag backpack comes with the following as standard:

  • Versatile elasticated internal pockets to keep your essentials organised
  • Secret zip pocket for important possessions that sits close to your body
  • Four insulated bottle holders –  great for hydration on the go or hitting the gym
  • Separate washable and waterproof  multi use zip top bag
  • Integrated padded laptop sleeve, perfect for laptops up to 14 inches
  • Padded back section for ultimate comfort
  • Padded adjustable shoulder straps
  • Top zip pocket  for easy access to essentials
  • Internal key holder
  • Internal zip pocket perfect for  valuables
  • Credit card and pen holders – ready for the daily commute
  • New waterproof and wipe clean KeriKit jacquard lining
  • Key-ring with a luggage tag that can be personalised at checkout

This was also a stylish bag that my husband didn’t mind carrying – so a big thumbs up on all accounts!

With thanks to Seraphine, Love Leggings, Kerikit and Frugi for gifting me these items for my press trip to Switzerland.
